Daytona Beach Condo Rental Questions

What time is Check-In?
Check-in time is 4:00 pm. for all our condos. Our housekeeper cleans all of our condos on Saturdays and every effort is made to have condos ready by check-in time. We cannot guarantee a 4PM check in time or the exact time of occupancy due to unforeseen circumstances, these include:
• Late check out by previous tenants
• Condo left with special cleaning needs by previous tenants
Our housekeeper usually starts at Ocean Walk Resort and then heads to
Daytona Beach Resort and Conference Center, then finishes their day at Hawaiian Inn Resort.
A limited number of early check-ins are available, we encourage Ocean Walk guests to check in early to avoid the long lines that usually occur at their normal 4PM check in time.
We are unable to request an early check in for our timeshare guests.
Requests must be made in advance and approved by phone or e-mail, as they are verified by the housekeeper in all instances.
How do we Check-In?
Since we own and rent at 3 different locations, each location has it’s own check in procedure.
• Hawaiian Inn Resort
– We have a touch pad entry system and you will be provided with your unique combination prior to arrival. The front desk is not to be bothered for any check in situations. Best method for entry is the south entrance; this will be the shortest walk for you and your belongings, although you can gain entry by the main entrance too. The codes are changes will each new guest, so if the combination does not work and you have arrived early it is possible that our housekeeper has not yet been there to clean.
• Daytona Beach Resort & Conference Center
– You will need to check in at the front desk, they have card keys for all rooms and make them for you on your arrival. We notify the resort of your arrival on your arrival date. We with notify the resort as soon as we are notified that the room has been cleaned. If you arrive and they do not have your check in info, then it is quite possible that the room has not yet been cleaned. Please call us for updated entry information.
• Wyndham’s Ocean Walk Resort – You will need to check in at the front desk, they have card keys for all rooms and make them for you on your arrival. We notify the resort of your arrival on your arrival date. We with notify the resort as soon as we are notified that the room has been cleaned. If you arrive and they do not have your check in info, then it is quite possible that the room has not yet been cleaned. Please call us for updated entry information.
Will there be maintenance in our condo?
We will notify you if any maintenance is being done in the condo during your stay and we make every effort to avoid these situations during your stay. Please keep in mind that we try our best to keep all of our condos in top shape, so we may schedule work during your stay if it I determined that it is required immediately for your comfort or enjoyment.
Will our Ocean Walk balconies be closed in 2008?
Our condo balconies were serviced in Dec 2007 – Jan 2008, so our condos balconies
have no additional maintenance scheduled.
We can not guarantee any Ocean Walk schedules, so timeshare condo work is unknown at this time.
What amenities are standard to your condos ?
The following amenities are standard to all condos:
• Bed Linens & Bath Towels for reservations of 7 days or more
• Pillows & Blankets
• Coffeemaker, Toaster or Toaster Oven, Blender, Dishes/Utensils/Cookware, Microwave
• Iron & Ironing Board
• Stereo with CD player
• Telephone,
• TV & VCR/DVD, Cable
• Hair Dryer
• Heat & Air Conditioning,
• Washer/Dryer or washing facilities on property,
• Outdoor Chairs on Balcony
Are linens and towels provided at my condo?
All bed linens and bath towels are provided. No linens are provided for cribs,
portacribs or Pack N’ Plays. Linens for Sofa Beds can be found in closets or
under beds in plastic storage containers.
For extra linens or situations that arise during your stay that require additional bedding,
please contact housekeeper to arrange for linen delivery.
If needed or staying for more than one week, mid-stay cleaning and
linen services are available for an additional charge.
Please contact us prior to your arrival to arrange these services.
What is the phone number at our condo?
The condo telephone number is included on your confirmation letter and check-in packet.
You may also e-mail us for this information.
Local Calls: There is no charge for local calls.
It is typically necessary to dial 9 to reach an outside line.
Options for placing long distance calls include calling cards, pre-paid phone cards and collect calls.
Any unauthorized long distance calls charged to the condo’s telephone will be billed to the responsible party.
What do I do if there is a problem with water delivery, cable or the heating /air systems?
In all situations, the resort maintains these systems and should be informed if any problems are encountered during your stay.
Please make an additional call to us, or our housekeeper so we can monitor the situation to make certain that it is properly rectified to your stay.
What do I do if there is a problem with anything else in the condo?
Please contact myself or the housekeeper for any problems or questions
that you encounter on your stay.
What is the check out time?
Our check out time is 9AM sharp – our expectation is that you have vacated
and will have all belongings out of the condo at 9AM.
Any late check out times need to be approved in advance.
This is especially true at Ocean Walk Resort –
Ocean Walk is our housekeeper’s 1st stop and she typically
does not have 1/2 hour to spare on Saturdays.
Please keep in mind – your late check out WILL affect another guest’s check-in time,
if not properly planned.
What to do when I leave your condo?
Condo should be left clean – what is clean ?
*Clean condition means that used beds are left open and blankets/comforters
are neatly folded on each bed.
* Used towels – hand towel – wash rags are left in the bathroom
*Clean condition means that the refrigerator is cleaned out and wiped clean.
*Clean condition means that the stove is wiped clean
*Clean condition means that all dishes have been cleaned and put away.
*Clean condition means that all garbage is emptied and placed in chute provided in hall
*Please leave remotes where they were found
*Please leave the airconditioner running on high
*Please lock doors as you leave
*Please note any problems found to housekeeper
*You have paid for a departure cleaning.
If additional cleaning other than ordinary needs to be done after your departure,
then a minimum of 2 hours at $25/hour will be assessed to you
and taken out of your security deposit.
Am I allowed to park a trailer at the resort?
No trailer parking is allowed at any of our resorts, off-site parking is available at the
Daytona Beach Airport for special events, we recommend that location.
Are floor plans available for all condos?
All floor plans are provided on our website

Does every bedroom have a TV?
Yes.
What if I leave an item behind in the condo I stayed in?
Please contact us as soon as possible for the best opportunity for us to locate your lost items.
We will try to do our best, but will not be responsible for any items left in a condo. We will attempt to locate items reported as left behind and, if found, return them for a fee to be determined by our housekeeper, which includes shipping. We will notify you of any items found.
Travel Insurance
-What does travel Insurance cover?
The optional travel Insurance includes coverage for medical emergencies and cancellation insurance for a mandatory evacuation due to hurricanes.
This insurance covers the rental rate and taxes paid for the condo you reserve.
We strongly urge you to purchase this coverage to cover your vacation investment,
as refunds are only made in the event of a mandatory evacuation.

Insurance is underwritten by National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, Pa.,

70 Pine Street, New York, NY 10270. NUFIC is a member of the AIG Companies®
and is currently authorized to transact business in all states and the District of Columbia.
The Policies will contain reductions, limitations, exclusions and termination provisions.
All coverages may not be available in all states.
What is the tax rate applied to my reservation?
State and county taxes apply to all rents, fees and services.
In Volusia County Florida state tax is 6.5% and county tax is 6%
Note: Taxes are subject to change without notice at the will of the local municipalities
and the state of Florida.
How much is my initial payment?
There is a Security Deposit required to book or stay at our condos.
This is in addition to your charges for rental, cleaning and taxes.
The security deposit is required for booking.
You will have 7 days from your reservation date or the date that you
reserve that condo to get us these funds.
If your are making a reservation within 60 days of arrival,
you will have 7 days to get us the security deposit + rental payment required at the time.
Ocean Walk Resort Security Deposit is $300.00, all others are $200.00
When is my payment due?
½ of your full payment is due on the 1st day of the month that is 60 days prior to arrival.
½ of your full payment is due on the 1st day of the month that is 30 days prior to arrival, we back ALL payment up to the 1st of the month, so if you are coming on June 21st, 60 day payments – April 21st – backed up to April 1st, 30 day payments – May 21st – backed up to May1st,
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept payments by personal check, cash, certified check, money order,
Paypal or credit card. We accept only US Funds drawn on a US Bank and
only MasterCard, Visa and the Discover Card or American Express.
If using a credit card or Paypal, add 3% processing fee to payment.
Can you please explain the cancellation process?
In the event of cancellation, you forfeit your security deposit.
In the event of cancellation, refund of the advanced rental will be made
only to the extent that a tenant can be found to occupy the vacated time
reserved under your reservation.
If we are able to rebook the property, we will refund a prorated share of the
rental fee for each day we are able to fill, less a $100 cancellation fee.
The option of trading your time in for a later time may be considered,
based on availability, but is not guaranteed and will be considered on a case by case basis.
Any alternate dates offered will be based on open dates on owner’s calendar,
that owner was not able to easily fill the previous year.
If the week offered is for an increased rental amount,
the difference in rental fee will need to be paid.

• Wyndham’s Ocean Walk Resort –Lazy River - Oceanfront pools(4) – child’s water slide and water gym– patio with loungers & chairs – 2 hottubs – tiki bar- poolside entertainment - 2 indoor pools – fitness center –indoor mini golf – hi speed internet in lobby - cafeteria – limited room service- conference center – banquet rooms – oceanside lounge & bar –spa on site – Ocean Walk Shoppes with shops – pubs – restaurants on site
Miscellaneous
-What do we need to bring?
We try to provide starters on the following::
Toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, diswashing liquids,
soap, laundry detergent. You will need to bring crib sheets and beach towels.
Are you available on check-in/check-out days?
We make a special attempt to be available on all check in days for
any and all situations for our housekeeper and our guests.
